Not made to behave. Ninimosi is for the woman who doesn’t need permission
to take up space.

That’s how I say hello.

I’m Nini. I’m from Georgia — the country, not the state. I grew up wearing silver that wasn’t meant for me.

My grandmother took our family’s spoons and had them turned into bangles when I was a child. I never took them off. Not at airports. Not even when I had my children. That’s where this started.

Years later, after moving to the US, I finally had the space to learn silversmithing.

During Covid, I practiced on my gas stove. Now I make everything by hand in my studio.

Not to follow trends. To make pieces people actually feel something in.

I’ve never been interested in jewelry you wear once and forget. I like pieces that stay. The ones you don’t take off. The ones that become part of how you move. But also the ones that say something. The ones people notice first and then start to understand you through them.

That’s how mine started. And that’s still how I make them.

Some are quiet. Some are harder to ignore.

But all of them are made to live with you. And to be seen with you.
